no problem.

As I already said my desired rim finish is polished bed and black hub.
I didn´t really want to order chrome rims, but in silver those looked too ordinary.

I like them quite a lot

I too do not like the style of the rims and I think they are too big for the 197. However, I appreciate that the style in Europe is different. I think that is a nice car. I would have it but with 18" rims in a more functional style

Can i ask where did you get your recaro seats also if it not too cheaky how much.

Im at the moment trying to get hold of some renault sport recaros but looks like i'll be getting the CS seat without the lettering which would be ashame as the prices i presume would be very similar (looking at £1200 for seats and frame)

Oh btw the car looks amazing and i think flushing the spray jets will add a nice touch to an already beautiful 197 and well worked car.

I'm not the biggest fan of the wheels but if everyone at car shows had the same thing they wouldnt be as half as intersting as they are.

I would also look to carbon fibre up the front bits too like side grilles etc (money allowing)

I arranged to get those seats by a friend who drives to Dieppe regularly. However he only got them because he knows some people who work there otherwise it hadn´t been that easy.

However it should be able that you order the seats at your Renault dealer?

looking nice - If it were my car I would have gone for 18"s, and not chrome either, but if i saw your car parked up somewhere, I'd definately be having a look around it looks good

Oh didnt realise that! I thought you could on get them as an option new with the 197, i'll be placing them into a 182. So i thought the response might be no.

put on 15mm spacers per wheel. looks like that. no problem to drive. (ET30)

How do spacers work? Do you just remove the wheel, put them on then put the wheel back on or is a technical thing?
Does it affect the warranty?

yes, it´s a piece of aluminium between rim and the car.

i do not know, the rims aren´t stock any more, so its marginal that there are spacers in my opinion.

I really like your car, I hope to make some of the same mods you have (lowered, spacers, carbon diffuser) I think I'd rather have some 18" turinis though and I don't think I like the look of the rear spoiler.

what alloys on the 172?

Tomason alloys.
However they won´t fit on the 197 because the Offset is too low and you only get those rims in 8,5x18 or something like that.
I also wanted to get those,...they look nice.

Enjoy your car mate and fit 19s if you want to. Cliosport is mainly a performnace orientated club so the vast majority of people will question anything that might have a detrimental effect. Not that anyoine here has driven a 197 on 19" rims anyway
