Do Clio Valvers get pulled much

My bro only had his astra gte for about 6 months by which time hes been pulled over about 3 or 4 times and ive never been pulled in 3 years of driving

can i expect this if i buy a Clio 16v?

Not been pulled in mine yet, but I know the day will come as it is drawing a hell of alot of attention! Wont get pulled at the moment as it is poorly and sitting in the garage!!

Not been pulled. I think that the 16v is the kind of car that the more discerning and sensible "boy racer" would drive.

Ive been pulled, i think once in a year and a half of owning one.

I think 16v Clios have a discreet look to them, they are badged only as Renault Clio on the boot on most models and dont have much else.

Therefore dont really attract that much attention from the wrong places..which i like!

If you drive a quality (or expensive) motor you never get pulled. Look at all those housewives who drive around in those huge 4x4s with limo tints all round and illegal spacing on their personalised plates - they never get pulled.

Twas the 1.3 Ghia I got pulled in tho.... dangerous driving, speeding etc. Luckily let off

I have only ever been pulled once because they were bored !!! they sat for a moment and discussed what to do me on then tried to get some money out of me ! that did not happen !

Never got pulled in the 4 years of owning mine.

Had policeman in Isle of Wight ask me whilst parked "Whys that big bulge on your bonnet" I replied "Its pleased to see you" He gave me a look then checked tax disc.

Been pulled once in a year, but i deserved that. To the uneducated eye they think its a Clio 1.1 or 1.4. It really is a quality car.

Im 19 and had my valver for 3 months and havent been pulled once yet!

I agree with Nick, if you drive a quality (or expensive) motor you never get pulled.
