Do Elephant or Admiral cover cars with mods?

Iirc they don't replace your mods in the event of an accident though. If that makes sense? lol.

Ya, they told me they will only replace factory fitted extras, not mods

Also on lowering they wont insure nething lower than 50mm but what they dont know wont harm them lol !

Elephant don't really have a clue about mods etc tbh, but as said they do allow them. It's worth noting to never call them after office hours as they struggle to understand what a car is, let alone anything else !

Just insured with Admiral as Privilege didn't seem to understand modifications...

Privilege : "So has your stainless steel exhaust added 20% or 30% more power?"
Me : "You what?"

They also insisting on giving me a £425 excess (which for someone in their 30's with 8 years no claims & no convictions is frankly taking the piss).

Admiral were cheaper with just a £100 excess.

Mind you - I was able to get some great prices out of comparison sites... ranging from £300 - £3,000
