Do ph1 172s have a double cat?!

Was under teh car today and had forgotten about seeing it when I got it, there seems to be 2 boxes next to each other right at the front of the exhaust, surely not 2 cats?!

Seems an odd set up though, do ph2s have it or could there be some gains from going to just 1 box?

i thought it was the otherway round, makes sense if they went to single cat on the last ph1s before the (single cat)ph2
