Some insurer's class it as security and won't charge you. Others won't like it and won't allow you to do it.

You cant put any on the front windows as the clio ones are pretty much on the limit approx 28-29% and 30% is the limit. So unless you put clear ones on the front no point.

Yes you have to declare them. Most insurers ask that they are to legal requirements, ie, not darker then that above and not on the front windscreen.
