Dodgy wheel bearing covered by warranty?

  182 Cup
Folks

My warranty still has 4 months to run but i've got that dreaded sound coming from my right rear and there's a wobble in the wheel so, will I be covered under warranty for a bearing replacement?

I should bloody hope so!

Take it down to reno and tell them to fix it. I think you'll be fine.

I've had bits and bobs done underwarrnty with no resistance from the stealer..

However, if its lowered of you have messed with suspension, you will be lucky. Just tell em its standard and most dealers dont even know the 182 exists...lol

wayne...wear and tear feck all...it is a dodgy wheel bearing. you haven'y got that many miles on the car, so i would want it fixing and would expect it to be covered by warranty.

The car has just hit 17k miles. The thing is, they will say they are fully booked and won't take it in for about 2 weeks, I drive on the motorway a lot and don't want a wheel coming off!
Then, if I get a car from them I will need to pay extra for insurance, dammed if you do and dammed if you don't!

My car has done 17600 miles and I have had to replace all 4 wheel bearings. They may say it's wear and tear as they can go at any time. Good luck trying though.

No problem, just take the car you get to a hill, roll it down, engine off, clutch down with 2nd selected.

When you hit the magic number (60;)) release and repeat.

a wheel bearing shouldnt be going after 17k miles, id tell them you want it sorting under warranty and if they refuse try another local stealer...if they still refuse contact renault uk tell them that if they dont do the work you will get it done yourself and invoice them also tell them youll be contacting trading standards (i think its them you need to contact, although im sure someone will be along shortly who can advice you better)
