Dodo Juice Red Mist

  Bumder With A Buffer
Im aware that plenty of people may have used it before but as someone who is just getting into the whole detailing malarkey (expensively :( ) I only used the stuff today.

Few weeks back did a wash, polish, CG Wet Mirror Finish then some DJ Blue Velvet and its started to gather crap loads of dust and stuff from sitting under the trees at work. So tonite did the following.....

Snowed, washed with AG shampoo and dried then applied some Red mist... looks bloody awesome IMO

Obviously after drying there were a few dry water marks (god knows what some of you call it!??!) so decided to try out the quick detailer

  Flame Red Delight
yea professional is the way to go i would say mate, take it you never sanded it down either as you still have the orange peel effect on it

  Clio mk3 1.2 Extreme
Looking good mate. Looks like it could do with a bit of tyre shine but that might just be the photo's
As far as quick detailer's the meguiers stuff is pretty good stuff.
I think i might invest in some dodo juice stuff seems to be getting good reviews

Well maybe my limited experience at spraying large parts showed here... I honestly didnt think of sanding it down after its final few coatings and before lacquering. I sanded it down after primer and before coats but didnt think about the top coats :(

At least I didnt make the fucker run like I sometimes do on things like diamonds or side bulllets.

I'd have a go with the wet & dry before sending it off to be professionally done.

Try 1200 Wet, 1500 Wet, 2000 Wet and then Meguiars Ultimate Compound.

Although i've suggested this before and you havent tried it - LOL

The Dod red mist isnt really a quick detailer, its a sealant.

Really good stuff though, it dries quick but spray on and wipe off will leave a nice wet and glossy finish.

You've got nothing to lose if you're thinking of having it done anyway!

Just soak the paper in warm soapy water for 10 minutes then use it wet, take it easy on the edges and let the paper do the work, keep the paper flat with a sanding block.

Work from 1200 - 2000 and then compound.

I've just sanded my entire Peugeot 206 down with 1500 paper and then G3'd - lol

That was a bit nerve racking, but it's come out fine!

I 2nd this. Depending on how thick you painted it, it should look 100x better.

But i wouldnt bother with 1500 grit. Go straight to 2000 otherwise im sure you'll strike through.

Car looking sweet though. Think you need a cup splitter imo.
