Does any one have a pic of the valver bonnet vent rain catcher

  FTO GPX 2.0 V6
As above.

I'm thinking of getting one fitted to my MK2 PH1 and wanted to make it functional, but worried about getting too much water in the engine bay, just want to see what the rain catcher looks like and how it works.

Has anyone fitted a vent to there bonnet and had any excess water problems??

Cheers

Heres a pic of the bonnet look I'm going for.

Where do you get these rain catchers from?
I have problem with water getting in my Mk2 Ph2 172 with a K-tec carbon bonnet with turbo vents. My shiney plenum and fuel rail cover don't like the water and currently have to be covered up when car is standing:dapprove:

Don't do it !!!!
Valver bonnet vents belong on mk1's, to me they don't suit the mk2 at all.

sorry but I think they do,I don't really like the kitted car at the top of my post, but I like the bonnet.

Come on someone must have a pic of the rain catcher!!!???

Chris,

How much of a problem does it cause you?

Basically I have a pipercross induction kit and want to get more air into it and try and cool under the bonnet down. I love the look of the valver vent and thought that would be ideal, but my mechanic said If I really want one, get a fake on to bond on as one cut in will create so much hassle and the car will have real starting problems!
