does backbox void warrenty

does anyone know if just a backbox will void my warrenty and if so in what way?

it wont void ur warrnety intially, just they might moan say if the engine went wrong they would blame the backbox or something stupid!

best ask ur Renault dealer first

Dont ask the dealer... ask Renault.

I spoke to Renault and they said it doesnt invalidate the warranty on the car... just on the exhaust - which seems fair.

Get Renault to put it in writing. So you can show it to your dealer.
