Does Cruise Control and Speed Limiter work through the gear box on a Clio 182?

Just wanted to know how the Cruise control and speed limiter work is it through the gear box?

I don't know but would hazard a guess it is operated/controlled by the ecu.
When either system is in operation the opening/closing of the throttle body is taken care of by the ecu thus maintaining a set speed or preventing the set speed being exceeded.

It's done by the ECU pal not the gearbox.
