Does the Clio V6 actually suffer from a common problem where it catches fire?



  Not a 320d
Just curious? Gets mentioned a lot, Ive only seen the one case of it (Black V6 on fire). Wondered if it was a genuine problem.

i think it's just poking fun at them tbh. I don't think they're any more prone to catching fire than any other mid engined car

Plenty videos in YouTube. A recent one appeared when it burst into flames on a Trackday.
Never get "in" YouTube, you'll never get out or you'll end up on "that side of YouTube".

my diff exploded on mine, big hole in the gearbox = gearbox oil dumped on red hot exhaust manifold = potential fire (mine just smoked like hell)

other than that there's no reason for them to catch fire
