Nope.
Although you can weld the diff to create an lsd.
i took a drive in a 197 a few days ago...it felt really reactive on turn in and the grip when exiting corners were far better than my ph1 172...why is that? (my friend who lend the car told me it's cuz 197's have lsd, stock)
One tyre fire out of tight corners is fun though chip
I wouldn't say it's worth the cash for a few tight corners no.
It's because of the superior front suspension setup, they have more grip than a 172.
Yes, much like the setup on the new focus rs.From what I have read the swivel hub design helps reduce the torque steer.
Yes, much like the setup on the new focus rs.
Very trick technology compared to our antique 172 setup which is the same as a Renault 5 basically.
Yes the R26's have a LSD. I wonder if the R26's LSD is interchangeable with the 197's gearbox?
Do it properly and put the whole engine and box in, lol
Pretty much ^ There's a few items that need addressing for a Megane gearbox to go in before you even look at the running gear, think the sump being one of them as it's in the way. All that effort, I'd be wanting the engine in there too!
lol no..
if it did no megane rs would ever be sold!
Its not really an item you see for sale TBH mate.
You can buy a quaiffe for them for 600 quid new anyway.
£600 a good price, I bet a Megane LSD would be five times that new lol!
