Does this sound like a alternator problem?

Turning the ignition to number two, the dash lights flicker rapidly, dimly lit too, same as the fuel pump which rapidly flicks on and off, radio won't work at all, lights won't work even with ignition off and key out.

Car won't start, won't turn over and lights on dash go out when trying to start.

Battery is brand new.

Does this sound like the alternator?

Yep. Mine did the same thing when my alternator was fucked.

Turned out to be the earth strap lol - Fitted and relocated to a better position a new one, job done
