changed my dogbone yesterday, but the vibration is still there, obviously its another mount? dogbone i took off is ok, anybody need one?? how much movement should i have when i rock the engine CHEERS
check that the lower nut on the upper gearbox mounting (the one under the battery) is tight - mine keeps working loose and causes all sorts of noises; i believe it's a common problem.
access to the nut is very tight but you can just about get to it from the wheel arch. might be easier if you take the battery/air box out and try tightening it from the engine bay - it's an 18mm.
the engine mounts appear to be formed from a cheese-like substance (very similar to brie, or maybe camembert) and loads of play would seem to be the norm. i'm binning mine for uprated ones as soon as someone comes up with them cheaply enough (partly just to spite all the 'it'll break' moaners!)
