Domain transfer help needed!

My brother is trying to transfer my website domain from Microsoft Sharepoint designer/Office 365 to Yola. The website doesn't have to stay intact, it's half built but I've realised that the Sharepoint Designer wasn't the best software to be designing with.

The website is hosted by Domain Monster, please can one of you IT wizards shed some light on this? I also have email addresses to transfer over as well.

Do you need the whole domain transferred over, or is it just new hosting you have?

Aka - are you moving company or just nameservers or even just the A record?

Moving the whole domain mate, so moving it all over to Yola, unless I'd be better off going with Wordpress?

Depends what you are going to do and how you are going to host it?

Wordpress/Joomla/Drupal, they are all good CMS's (have their weaknesses and strengths)
