Well, I couldnt beleive it when I got told I won the tickets hehe, anyway after cheekily inviting herself along (hehe) HippyChick and I both really enjoyed sunday. The FIA GT racers are LOUD, fantastically so, and after a few hours of that we were ready for some lunch, so off to the Renault tent and after a minor problem we got in and had a lovely lunch etc.... and whilst sitting in there we were offered the chance to go down to the pit lane before the start of Eurocup Renault Formula V6 race, so of course we said yes.
In the meantime we went and watched the ETCC races and sit in the sun for a bit.
Then, the time came, and we were taken down to the pit lane, then after a minute we were ask to walk over the barrier and there we were on the grid
, grid girls all standing there, cars coming down onto position etc etc, then came the best bit - we got ask to take a passenger ride in the safety & pace cars, so Michelle took the seat in the safety car, and I got to ride in the V6 255 - How chuffed was I? Anyway, fantastic day, cheers to Jas, all the admin and to Jeremy Townsend
