Don't fit OMP boss if you've got CC

Just thought i'd share my personal experience really. I'm aware there are a few of you lot who have fitted omp bosses to your cars if its got cruise control but i've not got a clue how.

Basically if you've got CC the gap in the OMP boss isn't big enough for it to fit the black block connector for the CC through. Unfortuanately I only discovered this after i munched up the black connector so had to buy myself a new squib!

Just so you can see for yourselves how much of a pain it is.

As you can see it's like king kong trying to do a virgin.

Momo boss, nice and loose like a MILF

So basically i'm trying to tell you, if you've got cruise control and you've got the choice. Don't buy an OMP as it's going to (possibly) end in tears. Sure you might get it to fit eventually but why go through all the hassle?

Cheers

Thats pretty bad. Saying that, it took a bit of filing of the boss to get the connectors through for a non cc'd steering wheel.

Are there buttons on the wheel for CC?
That's the only thing stopping me from getting an aftermarket wheel lol

Indeed it does Mr Boosh.

I had a OMP hub on mine and had to take apart the cc plug and airbag plugs and also it doesn't have the block of metal to tell your position sensor where the steering wheel is than all hell breaks loose. My tc was constantly off and as i found out one day it also killed the ABS !
