dont no what to do to the engine

i gt a clio 4 my first car 1.2 the billabong version n i wna play around with the engine but dont realy know what to do. some help guys?! some guy try sell me a electrical supercharger but didnt get it wasnt convinced dont reali no much as it is my first car

Dont bother with engine mods on a 1.2 there are very small gains if any. If you want the car to be quicker, take stuff out of it!

everyone's probably gunna pounce with the usual dont bother . . . get a proper car blah blah blah!! i'd say look into doing some basic mods, tidy exhaust system from the manifold back with maybe a decat, tidy induction kit but try and get an inclosed one for less heat soak and make sure there's a tidy cold air feed going to it. a remap may be worthwhile too, ok you wont see big power gains but it will be smoother and drive better! other than that you're talking big money for internal engine mods but you're never gunna see big power!

search is your friend matey, but il save you some time, people see minimal gains without spending ALOT of money. Your best bet is to reduce weight, change the springs, get some decent tyres and put a cliosport.net sticker in ya window :rasp:

i got a exhaust system which is nice but im not sure what induction kit to get. i just cant wait for my insurance to go down. any 1 no wether i could fit sports side skirts on it as i got da sports rear bumper n were i could get 1 4rm

Yup.

Take everything out. Exhaust, springs and tyres.

Its natural to want to do things to it, but it will cost you a bomb, hardly make any difference and it will still be slow..

heres a lift of things to remove

rear seats
all interior plastic
as much tar as possible

CAT get an mot then remove it

dont ever carry any passengers that slows you down :evil:
