door card removal clio pahse 4

I have tried to remove the door card to fit a new window regulator. I have taken the screws out and can see that the door card clips onto the door frame but how do I get it off? Help!!!

pull like hell from the bottom...

its just a foamy kinda glue sealant that should be holding it on now

once that glues off you pull the doorcard upwards off the door

Theres some very very very sticky black stuff that also holds the doorcard on. Have you removed the mirror cover and the bit of plastic that goes up the door as well as all the handles and the speaker? If not you need to, then its a case of slowly pulling the card off from the bottom but as i say its the stickest stuff ever!

Cheers for the advice. Do I have to re-glue the door card back on? Or will it re-stick?

itll just restick itself, its mega sticky stuff, lol

Yeah you can take them off several times and they still restick!

im gonna strip all mine completely when i can be arsed. when the systems goin for it.. my lights vibrate, tailgate vibrate, all door cards, my scuttle panel, my roof lining behind the sunroof, my mirrors and the plastic things next to the parcel shelf lol. gonna silicone the lot of it and draft excluse as much as possible
