Door Cards - smooooooth

Been thinking about spraying my door cards on my 51 plate clio. Hows the best way to get a good finish rub the plastic down, fill the plastic with body filler or would it be by using high build primer? As it has a textured finish.

theres a pic of mine . i took all the fabric of (6 hours with thinners lol) would of been quicker with heat gun. filled in any scratched chips holes etc with filler . then primed and painted .
