i banged my door a little before and now it catches on the inside catch you cant tell its dropped but was wondering how much it would be to get fixed

thanks

does the door look low?

does the door lift up when you close it onto the catch?

i dunno if theres any adjustment on the clio hinges.

personally id open the door, and lift the corner from the bottom and give it a couple of bounces, see if that takes it back.

failing that, drop the catch down slightly (inside the appature)

its doesnt look any differents but it does lift up very slightly when you close it. ill give it a lift and couple of bounces tommorow to see if it goes back. cheers

hey craig just wondering if u managed to fix this, as the wind took my door the other day, and it opened with quite a force, and now mine is doing the same, it closes and all still fine, but u can still tell it slightly lifts when u close it, and is anoying

cheers

just bounce the door upwards a few times , then retry, failing that, drop the catch down a couple mil inside the apperture

not got round to sorting mine yet. will do when the weather is warm

a mate had this on his corsa, turned out there was a small crack in the weld, where the hinge meets car. n it was just a case of welding it back. may not be this on yours but worth a look
