Door Handles - Rod or Cable?

Might have been gone over before but I don't know which is in my soddin car do I !!!!! I want to replace the interior handles as they're obviously cracked and buggered. It's a phase 1 X reg 172, December 2000. Does anyone know if they'll be cable or rod? I don't really wanna pull them apart til I replace them or I know I'll end up busting something. Besides, it's cold AND dark out there. Brrrrrrrrrrr

All mk2 Clios should be cable up front and rod in the rear (if it has rear doors) iirc.

Ah, that explains it then. I was wondering which ones were supposed to have a rod as the cable said it was for all models. Want some alloy ones for it but they're on £24 at the minute, might end up being a bit too pricey.
