door lock beeps?

hi when i go to lock my 182 what does the 4 beeps mean after i lock it cause my mates 172 doesnt do it and it doesnt do it when i really slam the door all feed back appreciated cheers

My MK3 does this too since I fitted an aftermarket head unit. Think its 4 beeps. Wait...it makes the noise once I've turned the ignition off actually!

Its something to do with the ecu, tit does it when the ecu is still turned on or something. Minedoes it every so often. Try locking it, wait a few seconds then unlock it and lock it again, I'm sure it won't do it as the ecu has had time to turn off.

I may be massively wrong though.
