door speaker wireing loom !!!

hey people,ok has any one ever rembved the plug/ wiresing loom from the inside of the car to the door and fitted a extra speaker cable in , or do people jsut cut and attatch to the wires on the head unit , and will it cope with 150wats been feed to it , can any one tell me how to get the plug off ??

You can fit extra wire through the holes that aren't used. Theres a guide on here somewhere if you search for it. Standard loom will not be anywhere near good enough for 150w.

what the best way of getting to the conector , wha shall i search for for the guide , can any one help with some detail on how to get the conector off / get to it to put wires through ???
