Double insurance on 1 car??

Basically i have sold my car but i am still wanting to get my NCB.
Can i swap the rest of the insurance over to my mums car even though it is insured under a seperate policy and still get my NCB?

I only have 2 months left until it is renewal time.

No, a car can only have one insurance policy on it at a time. I'm sure you can postpone a policy though then restart it on your new car.

Nope you can't. Then people could claim for a total loss car twice and get double the money back

im only going to be insured on my mums. It will then be swapped over when i get the new 197.
