Double Spoiler Woes...

Bought a double spoiler last tuesday from my renault dealer for £115 + vat. Took it home, spent 2 days spraying it. It looked really nice. Fitted it to the car and it was warped!! Only slightly...just enough so as not to notice when I initially placed it on the car before painting.
Well pissed off. Ive taken it back to the dealer who has given me a full refund.

While I was there he did mention that the double spoiler isnt mentioned in the new clio accessoriy catalogue. Have renault had problems with them? I know a few people on this forum have bought and fitted them without apparent problems.

It looked really nice too.

Thats a shame, I thought that looked good too. Still hoping to get an S1600 spoiler though, although no-one seems to know how to get one. Incredibly, Renault dont even know how to SELL me one!.

It is in the latest accessories brochure published June 2001. Go to page 5 and look down the right, I quote:

Rear Spoiler
with additional brake light
77 01 410 747

Also avaliable as double spoiler with additional brake light
77 11 210 645

So the dealer is lying! Jass is fine as far as I can see?

I am going to order this on Thurs. Have heard something about this before. Hope mine will be alright. What the difference between the S1600 spoiler and the Double extended spoiler??

have a look in the Other Clios Gallery, the S1600 spoiler is a lot more in yer face, as is everything else about the car.

is the S1600 spoiler actually for sale, i would be surprised if it was as the kit aint. And i dont suppose it will be. Only people whio make their rallycar kits are citroen saxo S1600 and focus rally car.

Can you give me the part number for the Executive mats for the Clio as I have just bought some and guess what...theyre for a left hand drive Clio, what use is that in the UK?
