Downloading pics from mobile phome memory card

Hi Guys

Ive got a sony ericsson P910i with SD card in it. How do i get the pics off the card onto the pc?
Ive done the obvious which is put the card in the slot on the front of the pc but nuffin happens.

You sure the slot is for an SD card not an MMC card ? The SD card has one extra pin on it , but your reader " should " detect both really

Don't you have a lead for your phone to your pc ??

It says on slot SD/MMC,
Yes do have a lead but the software dont work

I always go and get the latest software from the phone manufacturers website .

When you open " my computer " does the card reader show as a " removable drive "

Ive got six removable drives: F,G,H,I,J,K
But i aint got a clue which is the card reader. So no it dont say which is card reader.
Sounds like i need to go to sony ericsson website then.
And ive just found s SD card adaptor in the phones box which the card goes in, but the adaptor dont fit in slot ffs.

When you put the card in the sd slot , did you click on all the removable hard drives : F,G,H,I,J,K ?

I have a card reader , but mines a usb one . I just plugged it in , detected it all the removable drives appeared but i had to click each one to find which was the sd card on . Mine was on drive drive K .

All sorted. d/l software, connected phone via usb, job done.
