lol MS updates are being a right pain in the arse here at the moment, 62 updates, beat that! Even once its updated it insists on trying to find more and uses all of the machines resources and turns it into nothing more than an overpriced paper weight, nice one MS!

The update over the corporate LAN this morning, 208 mb which Microsoft reckoned would take 2 1/2 hours to download, don't think so!

no the best bit is that you are totally vulnerable to old viruses and whatnot whilst you are doing the first windows update.

have to go through the same when we get new hard drives - reinstall them with XP Pro SP1 and Office XP SP1. 2 hours wait sometimes! :S

I never use windows update ......always use autoptahcer they always release an update monthly...great tool
