Golf set off like a stabbed rat, shame it ran out of legs. BMW hasd it before they even set off with about 40bhp more than the rest. I was also suprised how badly the VXR did but it seemed to bog down at the start.

Exactly my thoughts! The 135i is almost exactly the same price as a Golf R and the 4WD traction would make for a much more entertaining race.
