I need to completley remove all the petrol fom the tank. i cantprime the pump as there is no engine in the car etc.

how can i drain it all? theres like 20ltrs in there and i DO NOT want to weld my roll cage to the rear arch with that in!

Siphon it off? You could just get 12v onto the right terminals on the pump and it'll run to drain it off, not sure you'll 100% get it all out with either way though. Only surefire way is to remove the tank.

could you explain where i connect the terminals? how hard is it to remove the tank?

can i not just unclip it from the bottom of the tank and drain it? or will the pump stop it from leaving the tank?

Pump is in the top of the tank.

12V to the terminal and pump it all out

will it all come out of the fuel line where it goes on the fuel rail?

Yes as long as you haven't disconnected any of the hoses.

cool. so when i charge thisit will jsut arm and start pumping yea?

what 12 volt can i use the old battery or summet?

I drained a ford focus not so long back, just disconnected the hose that goes to the fuel filter put the end in a jerry can and kept turning the ignition on and off it didnt take to long to empty 3/4 of a tank but it would be much quicker to just connect a battery to the pump terminals, but i couldnt be arsed at the time.
