Drilling air box



Silly mod :)

All it'll do is sook in lots of warm air from your engine bay and give a bit of noise and it'll look like swiss cheese

seriously I would never drill the airbox just for the idea of getting more air into it.

thanks 4 the replys i didnt think it was a good idea but just wanted to check what induction kits do u think are the best ive been looking at the k & n gen 2 kits

KnN is propbably the best choice then, failing that maybe a Simota or Viper. Do note that some cars have lost a little power with these kits. These are the cheapest out there tho!

The Simota i used to have was 250 pounds...



(+yes it also lost 250lbs of torque with it :D )

A stupid idea, if you just want sound when you jump on the gas, what about looking in one of the car mags for a back box, will give you the sound but not much performance.
 
If you want noise pull the battery side cold air feed out of the airbox slightly so there is a small gap.
