Drive by wire to cable throttle body issues

Hi there, bought a cable throttle body, pedal and cable to convert my ph2 172 to cable driven throttle body so that I can run an omex loom and ecu. Problem is the throttle body is smaller and won't fit! Looking at pictures on here people have just bolted them on which is what I expected, but the bolt holes don't match up and the inlet itself is smaller. Is there an adapter plate or something I need to fit this to the manifold?
