My misses car is knocking when turning, on further investigation noticed the ball joints where fcked.... anyway replaced them and regreased the CV joints, turns out the passengers one had been bodged previously (tie raps to hold cv boot on and NO cv grease) repacked and sealed and now its worse lol

Can anyone confirm if the shafts are the same across the MK2 PH1 non sport models? Its a 1.4 8V RT, i've found a cheap 1.6 (x'reg) one on bay....

any help would be great, many thanks

oh i wouldnt be too worried about cable ties on the boots, cable ties are alot better than reanults stupid bloody boot clips

Depends they can fil somtimes best use a proper clip designed for the jiob.
