Driver window wont go down but passenger side will, any ideas?!

As in the title..

Passenger one goes down using both buttons (passenger and driver) bt then my driver window doesnt go down,

Any ideas?

Poss faulty motor/regulator or wiring problem.

Vauxhalls are bad for the motor/reg failing.

One shot control box in the drivers door....BUT---

Check the switch before you pull the door apart.

Could i just go to the scrappy and buy another window unit thing?

I really would check the switch first.
Someone else had the same problem a few weeks ago and swapped the switch with one off his mates car, and it worked again.

So all he had to buy was switch.
A lot cheaper than the control box.

The driver side one works off a relay doesn't it? for the one touch thing, relay could be fucked?

The passenger side works in-directly on a relay via the UCH , the drivers side has a module in the door that gives you the single touch open facility on the drivers side only.

The switches are also different for drivers and pax side.

I was putting mine up a few months ago and heard a bang - and had to buy a completely new unit, in the meantime though I took the door apart and propped it up with a bit of wood

I still haven't got around to taking the door apart!

Hmmm,

Just got some pay,

Will swap my switch with my mates to see if that is the problem, if not how much am i looking to be paying?!
