Drivers seat adjustment levers, what does this one do???

its been a while since i owned a 172 but have redcently got another one.
the seat adjustment lever on the front right hand side adjusts the seat position forwards and backwards but what does the lever on the left hand side do?? the lever moves but nothing happens to the seat, could it be broken...

Ones forwards & back & the other up a height adjustor IIRC- theres not MUCH movement out of the seat though I wouldnt be to worrid if its not working

is it not for folding the seat forward? so passengers in the back can get themselves out? I dunno what its like on standard RS seats!

It adjusts the height of the seat relative to the floor.

Pull it up, and take your weight off the seat ! If it already feels like your head is on the ceiling and you're driving a bus, pull it up and put some more weight down and back on it and you should be heading for the floor.

The handle on the upper back of the seat is to get in the back.

i meant i will try and adjust the seat height with the one on the bottom of the seat, i was just stating the one on the top is for folding the seat. i could of explained it better :D
