Tried to get a way with one of these instead of a brand new driveshaft as my boot split. Has anyone tried these? The first go at getting it over the fitting cone, the bugger split, right down the seem. Pile of s**te.

You bought the wrong boot, you need a stretchy type boot and what lube did you use on the cone??
No no, it was a stretchy boot. Universal.
I used the lube provided and some other that i had lying about from work. As there seemed to be bugger all provided. They have offered me a replacement.
