Driveshaft for 172 help please!?!

I need a drivers side driveshaft for my 172.
How much do they cost new?
Can get one off ebay for £70 but its not looking too good so dont know how long it would last!

Ive found this site: http://www.carparts-direct.co.uk/ can anybody tell me if the driveshaft listed for the 2.0 with ABS 44 is the right part for my car? does the clio have 44 abs teeth or whatever that means!?

Or where else can i get one?

Yep that will be the one i can get from ebay! seller said he would sell for £70.

£150 or so new I think there some cash back if you return your old one as they resue them.

Yep will mean 44 teeth all 172's are the same. Ring renault specilaist breakers in accrington (just stick that into google the number has 666 or somehting near the end of it) and ask for Matt he should be able to sort you out one cheaper say your from Cliosport.
