Driveshaft length

Do ph1 and ph2 (non-cup) share the same driveshafts? I know the Cup ones are longer.

I asked the same question yesterday too as my driverside one needs replacing and have been offered a ph1 172 item.
​there definitely seems to be a lot of confusion on the driveshafts.

I believe ph1 are longer than ph2 mate, or so I've been told
