Driveshaft replacement.....

Hey guys has anyone had their offside driveshaft replaced on a 182 from a renault stealer? i got quoted £270 today!. How easy is it to do them yourself? i read in the haynes manual the bolts on them need tightening to 200lbs of torque!, thanks

very easy. Hub nut off and out it comes. depends which side though. One side you will have gearbox oil to contend with the other i believe is a few bolts and possibly an awkward bearing

Off side is easy, no need to drop oil. But the support bearing can be a pain.
