Driveshaft Rubber boot

Hi Guys,

The rubber boot has gone behidn the driver's side front wheel and has leaked oil/grease all over my alloys - i had teh AA man out and he said it's the rubber boot.

Couple of questions -

1 - does anyone know roughly how much this part is, i've been told about 2 hours to change so i can estimate labour charges?

2 - Will the liquid (now very dry as i havent been able to use my car) stuck on the alloy cause any damage?!?!

I'd say expect to pay about half an hours labour at a local garage - easy job any garage could do it.

The grease won't damage the alloy its only lube, take the wheel off and jet was the arch and the alloy if you feel the need.
