Dropping a standard 1.2 mk2 ph1

  Tango'd PB 1.2 16V
Just acquired a set of 16" 172 sport alloys with 195/45/16's on.
From a set of 14" steelies 165/65/14s.
It needs putting on its arse, but i just wondered if anyone had done the same?
And how much to lower it?
I've been told about 25mm, just thought i'd ask for a better more experienced opinion. ;)

If you're just buying lowering springs, get 60mm or it'll still look standard.

If you're buying coilovers then as low as it will go that will still allow you to drive where you need to. Mk2 non-sport Clios can be dropped 80mm and still have no issues with speedbumps etc.

You'll need more than 25mm dude, I'm gonna go for around 60mm but I want to find some decent springs first :)

I've been looking on the bay, average 90+ sheets for a decent set.
but i reckon its just gonna have to be 60mm.

Ben, are your rear badges black?
Reckon i've seen you out and about in chesterfield.

If you can be bothered to find my mk2 ph1 non sport project, it has some pics of it dropped 60 on apex. Its called "Ph1 Upgrade/Tidy Up" I believe.

Whilst i'm asking, anyone know how much they are, roughly?

Aaah!
I thought it was you.
I saw your clio every tuesday, and noticed your cliosport sticker.
There was a line of about 6 clio's the other week.
Couldn't help but join it, should have took a picture.
Got some big plans for mine over summer.

Haha yeah I remember that I thought it was hilarious, you got any pictures of your car as I've more than likely seen it?

Its nothing special at the minute mate,
Just pretty standard, dual optic lights, fog lights, m3 mirrors, de-badged but yet to be filled. Had hooooorrible steelies and Halford's wheel trims.
To be fair its abit of a sh*tbox, but i don't wanna spray it or anything yet, until its ready.
