Drove the Clio for the first time........

.......in nearly two weeks, i bought an Escort as i was offered it cheap, and iv been using that, but decided to drive the Clio today, god iv missed it lol, and i know its going to feel fast after a 1.6 16v Zetec engine but good god i swear its going even better

Though now iv not driven it,now jumping back in i really can notice i really need to fit new wishbones (shot bushes)

Oh and just to compare, the Escort is a late 1999 T reg, with around 100k on, and my Clio's a 2001 Y with 124k and the Escort has a million more squeaks and rattles, who says french build quality is always rubbish!

Good to hear the clio is still pulling strong, and not rattling too much at 124k!

This must be one the of the highest mileage 172's in the club?

not sure really mate, i guess so, iv seen a few higher mileage ones, i know of that silver one that was still going at 208k until the aux belt snapped, and i know of a cup on 158k so iv still got a while to go yet,iv also seen another black one on 138k, but i guess mines gotta be one of the more higher milers on here, still running so well, still chuffed with my 173.3 bhp and 149lbft torque
