I painted my drums this evening without removing anyof the rust or anything. Im going to haveto wait fr it to dry and then re-do it aren' I?

They will probably look awful tbh, if they do yeah rub them down & re-do them.

You should always clean up the ares you want to paint first.

sounds like something id do, when my puppy used to s**t in house just put clean newspaper over the top of the old one!!

when i first got my car i done mine with just a spray can without cleaning them first. they were black aand the paint stuck nicely it was just a little bumpy. i rubbed them down though recently and done them properly, they look ace.

Just rub them down with a wire brush, that should do nicely.
