DS supplies running low!?

Couldn't believe this, had a day off to do the non-online Christmas shopping (now done, way quicker than I expected) and one thing I needed to get was a DS, didn't order online as it wasn't any cheaper.

Bloody sold out! Gamestation were out, Game, WHSmiths, Woolworths, the local indie etc. I even heard the incredible words "we do however have PSPs in stock"!!, if you happened to want one you can't get a pink one for love nor money, the blue and silver are also very low on stock everywhere, especially the Mario Kart bundle.

Ended up getting one in Tesco of all places (last one left) as I wanted the Mario Kart bundle.

Got to agree sold my psp due to lack of games, now got a DS with Mario Kart and I haven't looked back.

Just had a look online to confirm, not only is the DS as good as sold out, but the PSP and XBox 360 (obviously) are not available until after Christmas either.

Going to be some dissapointed kiddies in a few weeks!

Couldn't agree more though, glad to see it doing so well. They've barely scratched the surface of the capability of the hardware and stylus yet so it will just get better and better. I may look like a big kid playing Kirby Paintbrush on the train but damn am I having some fun!

Have to agree, the DS is great. The games are what make it. The Nintendogs bundles go for about £200 on ebay and are well sold out.

MArio Kart is an awesome game, so much fun online.

Had some in my local woolies last week

I have just managed to get a PINK one for my daughter after weeks of searching from Eire for 149euros so im happy beats ebays ridiculous prices

There is supposed to be new stock arriving between 8th and 12th however so if anyone needs one may be worth holding back a wee bit

DS is excellent. Its made my daily 30 minute commute much easier
