DSLR Tripod (full size)

Anyone recommend one?

Not too expensive, but no crap that blows over in the wind haha

Any Gitzo..........We use them at work.
Manfrotto are rubbish.....too brittle.
Concentrate more on a decent head, legs are legs......you need a decent head that won't wobble....hence I suggest Gitzo.
Hope it helps a little.

Everyone I spoke to recommended Manfrotto. I've got a Manfrotto monopod also.

Got this for £52 at a local camera store, holds my 350D + 70-200 F4L + 430EX flash with no issues and I happily let the sea wrap around the legs using my 350D + 10-22... it'll probably not take the abuse, although its 100x better than my old plastic jessops £30 jobby
