Trying to setup dual monitor with a matrox g450 graphics card. normal lcd montior 19 inch widescreen connected via vga works fine as normal, can change resolutions etc all is good.
37 1080p inch lcd telly connected via dvi to hdmi not so good. the telly is shown as a plug and play monitor on device manager, and out of the 4 resolutions available only 1 'works' showing part of the screen with a large black bar to the left. eg when the lcd is set to primary the start bar isn't shown on screen and it seems to be in a 4:3 ratio. i presume i need to somehow change the monitor type to get the right resolutions. any ideas?
