dual screens different desktops?

is there anyway to get different desktops on the different screen

as they are diffferent size and shape the desktop backgrounds don't fit right on both displays

For Windows, Ultramon is what you need.

I use it, and I can set 3 different wallpapers for each screen, one massive one, etc.. it's very good.

It also gives you a taskbar per screen etc.. so only apps on a certain monitor show up on the corresponding taskbar..

why would you want more than one screen?! you can only watch one thing at once? or i am not cool enough to understand this geek stuff?
