dvd burner on pc

i havnt burnt any DVDs in ages cos my burner [samsung]takes over an hour to burn a film.this hasnt botherd me but lately its been ejecting and closing on its own. any sugestions?

Maybe it doesn't like the taste of the DVD's you're using and is trying to spit them out?

Seriously, it's probably knackered, over an hour seems a bit excessive as well.
