DVD player finally installed

After almost a year of havin my DVD i have finally fitted it to my car. When i first boght it i did fit the player and run all the wires but i didnt want to fit the screen as it dont have a speaker and id need to run the sound through my stereo which doesnt have any additional RCA inputs.

Still got a bit left to do, securing the player in the glovebox, getting a new stereo so i can have the sound so does anyone know of a good stereo that has additional RCA inputs?????

its great having a dvd player in the car.. handy when you are waiting to pick your bird up from somewhere .. they are always late..

sound through your stereo...

Ive read somewhere before that you can get some kind of adaptor that fits your CD changer control output on your head unit and will allow the sound to go through the head unit...not quite sure how true that is, as i didnt bother looking in to it.

I know what you can get tho, is an FM modulator.
basically it takes the sound outputs from the DVD player and turns them into an FM signal, then you just tune your head unit in to whatever signal it broadcasts at and wahey!

Thats just a cheaper way to do it if you dont wanna spend the loot on a new head unit

what headunit do u have, as most manufacturers do a lead as said, so that u can convert your cd changer connection, in to a rca input, but if u want a new headunit, clarion headunits all come with rca in, and there best 2003 unit is about 230 quid..... and they are very good units.



also some panasonic units allow u to do the same, but any alpine pioneer and i think sony units will accept the rca input convertor, costs 10-40 quid, dont use fm modulators they are sh*t, and not 100% legal.....

give me ur headunit details and i will get the code for the part u need, or i can give u some details of headunits that will allow u to do it.

Its a DEH P4300 RB Pioneer obviously. I would like to ge rid of it as it aint that good. So wot other pioneer ones are out that are good and will do the job?? I got a 6 disc cahnger which is why id like to get another pioneer.

Also im toying with the idea of fitting a playstation in there 2. Only thing is the Monitor one has one input for video. Could i just get a 2 into 1 RCA lead and do it that way??
