DVD Regions???

A dvd rom / writer will lock itself to the region of the 5th dvd played in it . Sometimes updating the firmware will remove it or using a program like anydvd or region free dvd will remove it and make it region free .

thats actually wrong you can change the regon upto 5 times after that its locked but there are bits of software that make it ignore the region code

Thats why i anydvd installed . It always stays at 5 changes remaining
